Welcome to our two new CFMAR Fellows

CFMAR welcomes two new CFMAR Research Fellows who are joining UCSB effective July 1, 2021.

Dr. Adam Waterbury joins us after recently completing a PhD in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he worked with Professors Amarjit Budhiraja and Nicolas Fraiman. His research interests are centered around probability and its applications, including stochastic approximation, stochastic dynamical systems, and population dynamics.

Dr. Zimu ZHu joins us after recently completing a PhD in the Department of Mathematics at University of Southern California, where he worked with Prof. Jianfeng Zhang. His research interests are in financial mathematics, in particular principal agent problems and risk management.
