Associate Professor Ruimeng Hu and Professor Mike Ludkovski have been awarded a collaborative research grant from the National Science Foundation. Their project on "AMPS: Optimal Dispatch, Ancillary Services Bidding and Strategic Interactions of Battery Energy Storage in Modern Power Grids" will explore modern electricity markets using stochastic control and stochastic game theory.
